Reporting to the Senior Director, Total Rewards, this role works very closely with senior leadership, HR, and Finance teams to ensure that executive compensation packages are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company's goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of executive compensation trends, market analysis, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will specialize in the development, implementation, analysis, and/or administration of compensation programs for our most senior executives and supports development and implementation of complex global total rewards programs. Additional responsibilities may include base compensation, job leveling, salary structures, equity programs, incentive plans, benefits and reward and recognition programs. This position is a key contributor to creating a competitive and innovative Total Rewards program designed to attract, motivate, retain, and engage employees, which supports Nordson business goals and strategies.
Develop and execute comprehensive executive compensation strategies that attract, retain, and motivate top executive talent.
Conduct regular market analysis to benchmark executive compensation against industry standards and peer organizations.
Ensure compliance of total reward practices with all relevant regulations and monitor regulatory developments to ensure continued compliance including tax laws, labor laws, and corporate governance guidelines.
Support preparation and development of executive compensation reports to the Board of Directors and Compensation Committee.
Assist in preparing and managing materials for Board Committee meetings including coordinating with stakeholders and tracking meeting follow-ups.
Collaborate with other departments on executive compensation design, governance, and disclosure considerations and requirements.
Support the global implementation of total rewards programs and monitor the effectiveness of total reward policies, guidelines, and procedures, worldwide.
Design and manage performance-based compensation plans that align with the company's strategic objectives.
Provide consultation, advice and governance structure to support pay decisions, policy and guideline interpretation and job evaluation including the design of creative solutions to specific total reward-related issues.
Provide guidance to HR Business Partners, Regional HR Operations teams, and other CoE functional specialists on total reward issues.
Develop and implement effective communication tools and timelines to educate managers and employees on total reward practices and programs.
Consult with applicable stakeholders on total reward-related issues and development of complex internal and external offers as well as ad-hoc analysis reports as needed to management and HR team members.
Coordinate with HR Teams to review and maintain total reward structures and support regions in answering requests on total reward issues.
Work collaboratively as a part of the M&A HR team when needed on total reward work streams.
Partner with the internal and external partners responsible for global processes and services to ensure that associated processes are managed and delivered by policies, program requirements and service level agreement terms.
Establish and monitor tracking metrics and other reporting as required.
