This is a Part-Time Lane Inspector Position. You will play an important role in limiting the production of Emissions by identifying the polluting vehicles. As a lane inspector, YOU will be responsible for the following: * Perform emission inspection functions following established procedures, and enter and verify vehicle information with computer data. * Operate vehicles during the emissions system test and use exhaust analysis equipment. * Direct motorists in and out of the station, provide test results, instruct customers on next steps in the inspection process, and collect inspection fees. * Other job duties as assigned. No experience required; we will train you! Requirements: * Must be 18 years of age. * Valid and unrestricted driver's license. * Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and balance unassisted for extended periods of time. * Physically able to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs on an occasional basis. * Basic computer skills. * Saturday availability required - (State & Program Specific) * Part-time hours requirement is between 20 - 30 hours a week. - (State & Program Specific) Qualifications: * Team player. * Excellent customer service skills. * Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced, busy shop environment with a smile and positive attitude. * Work in an environment that includes vehicle exhaust fumes, noise, and heat. * Work in all weather conditions. * Work safely around operating motor vehicles. We currently have an opening in our Warehouse Department. The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate - Back-up Delivery Driver position is to act as the back-up to the primary Delivery Driver. Some days driving will be required when our primary Delivery Driver is unable to make the trip. Delivery Driver essential duties include: Loading, transporting, and delivering items to the warehouse in a safe, timely manner Assisting and/or monitoring the loading / unloading of items from the vehicle Adhering to an assigned route and following time schedules Abiding by all transportation and traffic laws and maintaining a safe driving record Preparing reports, or providing information verbally, regarding deliveries, as requested When not performing the duties of the Delivery Driver, responsibilities will include: Assist with loading or unloading vehicle for deliveries to/from Novi. Receiving packages Shipping packages Fill customer orders by pulling/picking items from shelves in off-site warehouse. Verify items against customer purchase orders for accuracy. Package items as necessary to prevent damage during shipment. Process outgoing orders in computerized shipping system. Inventory Ensure clean work area and follow safety rules. Experience & Requirements Valid Driver's License issued by Ohio or Michigan Clean driving record and drug test Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. Adequate verbal and written communication skills that allow for proper information exchange at pick up or drop off. High school diploma or GED required Forklift certification or experience preferred Ability to operate a vehicle safely This position requires the ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
