1994

Vela was formally launched as a commercial entity in 1994.

2009

VELA was born in 2009 with the daring idea to revolutionize the way the world looked at hijab and modest style.

2010

VELA was founded in 2010 with a mission to empower underserved Spanish and English-speaking parents of children with special needs.
