About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented A&P Mechanic to join our client's team. In this role, you'll perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on single-engine aircraft.
What You'll Do:
Use FAA-approved technical data (IPC, AMM, OHM, CMM, etc.)
Perform repairs and modifications on airframe, powerplant, and propeller systems
Remove, disassemble, install, and test aircraft parts and systems
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot aircraft systems
Operate power tools and necessary equipment
Maintain accurate records per Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
Record time worked on aircraft work orders
Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints
Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Keep work areas clean and organized
Tow and park aircraft
Support general shop duties (sweeping, mopping, cleaning, etc.)
Perform lifting (up to 50 lbs), kneeling, bending, climbing, and working at heights
Travel occasionally as needed
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be A&P certified
3 years of experience minimum with small engine aircraft
Strong basic computer and communication skills
Must have your own tools
Valid U.S. Driver's License
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Inspection certification is a strong plus
Preferred experience with small aircraft such as single-engine airplanes.

• This worker reads and interprets manufacturers and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
• Duties may include requirements to adjust, repair, or replace electrical system wiring and aircraft accessories; perform preflight, thru-flight, and basic post-flight maintenance inspections, perform as Refuel/Defuel, Jack and Tow Team member/supervisor.
• Individual may also be required to perform other miscellaneous aircraft servicing to include, but not limited to Lox, Hydraulic and Engine Oil, service aircraft tire and perform aircraft lubes.
• Ability to work at heights utilizing fall protection and work in confined spaces is a must. Selected individual must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Lubricate and service aircraft landing gear, replace Zerk fittings, and perform canopy waxing per Technical Orders.
Operate tow tractors and direct aircraft towing operations in compliance with safety and TO requirements.
Document all work in AFTO 781 forms and maintenance systems; immediately report discrepancies to the Production Superintendent.
Provide technical oversight and guidance to Aircraft Mechanic Helpers.
Adhere to strict Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and Dropped Object Prevention (DOP) procedures.
Maintain compliance with OSHA, AFOSH, environmental regulations, and JBLE safety standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or A&P certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferably on fighter-class aircraft.
Strong understanding of corrosion control, lubrication systems, and aircraft ground handling procedures.
Must be able to pass a federal background check
Ability to read, interpret, and apply Technical Orders

Job Overview
The Fuel Distribution System Mechanic receives, stores, transfers, logs fuel data. The Mechanic may inspect and assist with the repair of pipelines, hoses and other connecting systems. The Mechanic will gauge tanks for water, temperature and fuel levels, check pumping systems for correct operating pressure or unusual noises and perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned systems.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Observes and interprets readings on gauges, meters, and charts which register various aspects of fuel maintenance and delivery operations.
* Adjusts controls to insure safe and efficient operation and to meet demands for fuel.
* Cleans strainers, filters, fuel tanks and distribution lines removing corrosion and re-painting surfaces.
* Lubricates pumps, and replaces gaskets, seals, and fuel filters as needed.
* Corrects pumping misalignment and makes repairs to equipment; following prescribed methods.
* Inspects and diagnoses problems to determine corrective repairs.
* Completes all job-related paperwork and forms.
* Uses a variety of hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments.

Job Requirements
Mandatory:
