Leidos' Payroll Services team is seeking a customer service-oriented Lead Time & Labor Specialist to support time and labor processing, compliance initiatives, and process improvement projects within the Domestic Payroll organization. This position serves as an advanced individual contributor role, responsible for performing complex timesheet administration, resolving escalated issues, and leading team-level optimization efforts. The Lead Time & Labor Specialist acts as a key backup and strong support to the Time, Labor, and Compliance Manager, assisting with daily operations, special projects, and audit readiness. This role does not include direct supervisory responsibility but provides leadership and mentorship to team members through project coordination, peer guidance, and process improvements. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Perform advanced timesheet and Costpoint administration and reviews to ensure all submissions and approvals meet company and federal requirements. + Serve as a primary escalation point for complex or sensitive timesheet and labor charging issues. Leads the research, analysis, and resolution of any complex time and labor issues. Documenting new controls to handle automated decisions or preventative measures. + Support the Time, Labor, and Compliance Manager with compliance activities, audit support, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Will have responsibility to bring recommendations for process improvement initiatives and for execution/implementation. + Lead and participate in team projects related to system enhancements, automation, and efficiency improvements. + Provide mentorship, training, and day-to-day guidance to Time & Labor Specialists.
