Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is currently seeking a Principal Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Sector team in Maryland. This is a remote position mainly working with suppliers in mainly in Maryland and other states mainly within Eastern Seaboard, with up to 75% travel. What you will do: Responsible for managing supplier quality risks. Develop and implement systems for evaluating and controlling supplier quality. Ensure supplier processes and products meet contractual, regulatory, and technical requirements. Interfaces directly with supplier personnel to assess quality and manufacturing processes. Conducts product and process verification, monitors supplier quality performance, and leads root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier quality issues. Manages supplier requests for waivers, deviations, and oversees the discrepancy reporting process. Keeps management informed of supplier performance, quality status, and associated risks. Coordinates and oversees the implementation of Supplier Quality plans throughout all program phases. Actively participates in supplier evaluation, qualification, and selection during the Business Acquisition Process and for new procurements on existing programs. Manages the implementation of Supplier Quality processes, including supplier approval, source selection, supplier classification (Critical, Key, Standard), development and execution of supplier quality risk assessments and mitigation plans, and flow-down of supplier quality requirements. Basic Qualifications BS degree in STEM related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering and/or manufacturing experience; MS Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in engineering and/or manufacturing. Experience with conducting product/ process validation in accordance with AS9102 (First Article Inspection) or similar process in other industries. Experience with Evaluation and Implementation of quality management systems such as ISO9001/AS9100 or equivalent. Experience with Root Cause analysis using tool such as but not limited to 5-Whys, Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagram. Experience working with mechanical design requirements and specifications. US citizenship Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance. Requires extensive travel (75-95%), often on short notice. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering.     Leidos has an exciting opening for you, as a Cloud Engineer, to play a critical role with design, engineering, development, deployment, and use of software for the DOMEX Technology Platform (DTP) where we support our client's mission to centralize and standardize Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TCPED) of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) across the DoD and IC enterprise. We integrate off the shelf and newly development software to sustain and enhance the TCPED platform. We leverage cloud-based computing, artificial intelligence (Al), machine learning (ML) and cross-domain transfer systems to provide cutting edge data exploitation, enrichment, triage, and analytics capabilities to Defense and Intelligence Community members. DTP advances the state of the art in mission-focused big data analytics tools and micro-service development spanning the breadth of Agile sprints to multiyear research and development cycles. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for technical duties such as infrastructure design, creation, maintenance, and support associated with cloud computing. You will be working closely with our Cloud Architect, Solution Architects, Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, and Operations Engineering/Manager as well as Government counterparts to perform and manage our cloud solution, cloud computing strategy and all associated documentation. Most work will be conducted on-site at our client locations in Bethesda, MD. Occasionally, some tasks may be performed remotely. As a Cloud Engineer, you will collaborate with our engineering and infrastructure teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the program.
