Peraton's National Programs Business Intelligence Systems & Applications Operating Unit has a need for an experienced Software ProjectManager to support its SITE III DO contract charged with the orchestration, sustainment, and evolution of a portfolio of mission critical applications and services supporting a major Directorate within the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC). The SITE III DO contract is designed to establish and ensure a multi-discipline approach to requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the National apparatus of Defense Intelligence, Combatant Commands, supporting Partner Nations and other Federal Agencies to ensure timely and accurate Human Intelligence (HUMINT) collection, correlation and dissemination. Our support team applies best practices in architecture design, data science, cloud services, DevSecOps and platform integration to develop, sustain and continually evolve the global U.S. human intelligence apparatus and supporting partners.
The Software ProjectManager will serve as the Deputy Program Manager reporting directly to the SITE III DO Program Manager. In this role the Deputy Program Manager will oversee multiple software development efforts, oversee O&M of deployed software applications, and participate in all levels of planning for future applications and projects. The Software ProjectManager will coordinate with multiple project leads to gather and access status, ensure timelines are met and take proactive corrective actions as necessary. Responsibilities include resource planning, interviewing and hiring, extensive interaction with customer leadership to include briefings, presentations and real-time technical exchange meetings. Additional responsibilities include creating cost estimates based on a strong understanding of resources levels and capabilities, and creating detailed technical approaches to customer tasking. The Software ProjectManager will be responsible for oversight and review of the Integrated Management Schedule (IMS) delivered to the customer on a monthly basis. Other deliverables include creating the monthly Program Management Review in coordination with the SITE III DO Program Manager, as well as weekly progress reviews for the customer. Participation in Quality Assurance and Risk Management tasks is also required.
As the Deputy Program Manager, this role serves as the backup to the SITE III DO program manager for all inquiries from the customer to include financial and contractual topics. As such the Deputy PM must have a complete understanding of the contract deliverables (weekly, monthly, annual) and full understanding of contract funding at the contract level and at the individual applications levels.
Problem solving, flexibility and the ability to collaborate on engineering tasks are key to successfully executing this role. Must be able to take and incorporate feedback, and make adjustments to plans as options are developed. Must be able to listen and generate consensus among teams and must be able to convey vision.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and 5 years' experience or 9 years of experience with a HS Diploma
Experience managing infrastructure, data center, network, and software upgrade projects
Experience with project plans to monitor and track progres.
Experience in MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio and/or other software tools
Experience in managing changes in project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Must possess excellent communication (oral and written) skills, attention to detail, problem solving and excellent customer service skills
