Ken Brown is a Chief Operations Officer at Venerable and is based in Iowa Area, Des Moines, Iowa. He has worked as Senior Vice President Sales at Voya Financial Inc.. Ken studied at University of Northern Iowa.

​Charles is the Chief Risk Officer of Venerable Holdings, Inc., supporting risk-related functions such as investment portfolio performance, hedging, and enterprise risk. He also works in partnership with Venerable’s operating company, including investment management, risk management, hedging strategy and operations, and treasury.

He has over two decades of experience in derivatives and insurance risk management, most recently serving as Head of Derivatives for AXA Equitable where he was responsible for the company's derivatives and hedging programs. Prior to his tenure at AXA, he served in hedging and risk management roles at Prudential Financial, and at AIG.

Charles is also active in financial-markets reform, having served as a member of the Alternative Reference Rate Committee (ARRC), which is the Fed-convened body overseeing the market transition away from US dollar LIBOR. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the ARRC's Outreach & Communications working group. Charles holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University.

Dave is Venerable's Chief Financial Officer, responsible for capital and in-force management, valuation, partnering with the risk function on hedge strategy and operations, controllership, financial reporting, expense management, treasury and tax.

He joined Voya Financial in 2009 and most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Closed Block Variable Annuity (CBVA) business, managing the finance, actuarial and hedge strategy teams supporting the business unit. Prior to this role, Dave was the head of Valuation for Voya’s Retirement, Fixed Annuity and Closed Block Variable Annuity business units. From 2009-2012, Dave was the Head of Annuity Risk Reporting for Voya’s Annuity business.

Before joining Voya, he worked at The Hartford in a variety of roles in the Annuity and Life insurance businesses. Dave is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst and member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He received a B.S. in Actuarial Science from Penn State University

Lindsey is Venerable’s Chief Implementation Officer. She leads corporate strategy, M&A transition management, project management, and communications with a focus on driving strategic growth and thought leadership for Venerable.

Prior to this role, she served as Vice President, Strategy and Implementation for Voya Financial and served as Chief of Staff for the President of Annuity and Individual Life. In this role she led strategy development and had oversight for program management, governance and project implementation for the Annuity, Closed Block Variable Annuity (CBVA), Individual Life and Employee Benefits organizations.

Lindsey joined ING in March of 2003 and has been responsible for supporting various business units throughout her tenure. She has over 20 years industry experience, having worked for Metavante in Princeton, NJ, and Conde Nast and AIG in New York. Lindsey received her bachelor’s degree in Business/Communications from Rutgers University.

Parul is a skilled actuarial professional with over 15 years of experience in the U.S., U.K., and Indian life insurance markets. Her expertise lies in the areas of financial reporting and analyses, actuarial modeling, M&A appraisal work, process improvement and governance. In her current role as the Chief Actuary at Venerable, Parul maintains oversight and provides leadership to the actuarial functions comprising the following:

- Inforce Management and Strategy team: responsible for inforce management, assumption development for existing blocks as well as transaction due diligence of actuarial assumptions,

- Capital Management and Modeling team: responsible for liability modeling, RBC, and corporate earnings metrics,

- Valuation team: responsible for statutory, GAAP and Tax reserves and NAIC reporting under VM-21.

I am Chief Information Officer of Venerable and provide overall leadership, management and strategy as it relates to technology investments, application development and support, infrastructure and IT operations. I have over 30 years of diverse IT experience in Fortune 100 companies like Voya, ING, JP Morgan and DuPont. Prior to joining Venerable, I was Senior Vice President and Head of Information Technology for the Voya Annuities, Individual Life, and Employee Benefits businesses. Prior to this Voya role, I led Voya’s Enterprise and Corporate Application teams for several years. I have a BS in Computer Science with a concentration in Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
