​Charles is the Chief Risk Officer of Venerable Holdings, Inc., supporting risk-related functions such as investment portfolio performance, hedging, and enterprise risk. He also works in partnership with Venerable’s operating company, including investment management, risk management, hedging strategy and operations, and treasury.

He has over two decades of experience in derivatives and insurance risk management, most recently serving as Head of Derivatives for AXA Equitable where he was responsible for the company's derivatives and hedging programs. Prior to his tenure at AXA, he served in hedging and risk management roles at Prudential Financial, and at AIG.

Charles is also active in financial-markets reform, having served as a member of the Alternative Reference Rate Committee (ARRC), which is the Fed-convened body overseeing the market transition away from US dollar LIBOR. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the ARRC's Outreach & Communications working group. Charles holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University.

Prior to this role, Dave was the head of Valuation for Voya’s Retirement, Fixed Annuity and Closed Block Variable Annuity business units. From 2009-2012, Dave was the Head of Annuity Risk Reporting for Voya’s Annuity business.

Before joining Voya, he worked at The Hartford in a variety of roles in the Annuity and Life insurance businesses. Dave is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst and member of the American Academy of Actuaries. She has over 20 years industry experience, having worked for Metavante in Princeton, NJ, and Conde Nast and AIG in New York. Lindsey received her bachelor’s degree in Business/Communications from Rutgers University.
