POSITION SUMMARY
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing customer service by building and maintaining relationships with customers and responding to their needs and expectations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION
Foster and build relationships and opportunities for stability and long-term growth with customers by gaining an understanding of their expectations and specific preferences.
Book freight aggressively, with a sense of urgency, and in a manner that keeps every driver moving daily and eliminates layovers for more efficient and profitable operations.

Enter data into the TMW system accurately and completely.
Understand and actively work with customer-issued scorecards to improve customer service and meet customer expectations.

Communicate any Customer changes or needs to the entire Operations and Sales teams; serve as the conduit internally for our Customers.

Physical Demand/Environment:
Ability to stand, walk, twist, bend, kneel, see, talk, hear, lift up to 45 lbs. Exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, non-hazardous materials, and variances of sound levels.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE): The PPE described here is mandatory while an employee is on the plant floor performing the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to wears at all times-hard hat, safety glasses, earplugs, metatarsal boots and cut-resistant gloves while handling tubing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand for several hours (up to 8-12 hours); use hands and fingers to manipulate, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk; talk or hear; stoop; kneel; and crouch; The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds; frequently lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Rarely will an employee have to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 100 pounds. Read and apply micrometer, caliper, gages and tape measure
Read and interpret slitter schedule. Understand and use shop floor system
Select proper master coils to match slitter schedule
Enter master coils into slitter
Use of coil car, turnstile and controls for all slitter equipment
Operation of all coil entry equipment and controls
Proper threading of coil(s) through slitter head to re coiler.
Un banding procedure
Proper banding of coils
Slitter setup:
Proper setup of head to match schedule; set up of rubbers, spacers, knives
Proper setup of over arm and under arm separator shafts
Complete knowledge of Company Safety Rules and precautions
Complete knowledge of Company quality requirements
Complete knowledge of Company housekeeping rules
Ability to run forklift and overhead crane
