The Admin for this position will work in a correctional facility setting and will be responsible for duties to include: * Oversee and monitor the activities of the intake and release areas. * Complete all daily information forms necessary in processing offenders in/out of the facility. * Update computer upon arrivals/departures of offenders. * Update count board upon arrival/departure of offenders. * Operate Fingerprinting for incoming offenders. * Ensure all arriving offenders receive appropriate identification, including ID and wristband. * Responsible for completion of inventory of property for incoming/outgoing offenders. * Properly identify each offender scheduled to be released. * Notify necessary departments of pending incoming/outgoing offenders. Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years of age. * High School diploma or general education degree (GED). * Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. * Ability to handle physical and mental stress associated with working extended hours. * Must be mature, flexible, able to command the respect and confidence of inmates or detainees and staff, philosophically committed to the objectives of the facility, and possess a high tolerance to mental stress.
