Works independently on implementing new technology upgrades and high complexity process improvements on existing incineration systems. Provides leadership and guidance on developing, implementing, and monitoring daily processing plans relating to incineration. **Primary Duties /Responsibilities:** + Drive and supervise strategic project execution and guide process engineering team to ensure project and process design deliverables are met within time, budget, safety, and environmental parameters. + Identify technical production problems and engage teams to achieve resolution. + Create project justifications and commercialization plans including ROI. + Develop project cost, staffing, and monitoring plans by applying sound project management. + Initiate and complete MOCs, lead PHAs and PSSRs, and develop operating procedures. + Provide specialized technical support to operations, maintenance, technical, and performance teams. + Provide production support by reviewing incineration waste stream properties and optimal feed patterns. + Evaluate and recommend solutions to determine appropriate processing support approaches to satisfy production specifications and environmental and safety requirements. + Define performance expectations, communicate work assignments and schedules, provide performance feedback, reinforce safety issues, and discuss performance with direct reports. + Review, monitor, and ensure compliance with environmental permits and safety standards. + Assist with marketplace analyses to identify new potential revenue streams. **Qualifications** **Education / Experience / Background:** + BS in Chemical Engineering or related discipline required + 10 years' experience as a process engineer or 2 to 3 years' experience as a senior process engineer + Hazardous waste industry or related work experience preferred + Supervisory and large capital project lead experience preferred **Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:** + Extensive knowledge in processing methodologies, data compilation, evaluation and implementation of resulting improvements + Project management, ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines + Strong team player + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills + Strong customer orientation **Additional Information** **Benefits:** Veolia's comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, savings accounts, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
