Outside Sales Rep - Fleet Fuel
The Fleet Sales Representative sells fuel cards and fueling programs to business and industrial establishments and maintains existing accounts by performing the following duties. The compensation for this position is base plus commission.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize information gathered from internet searches, on-road visuals, supplied databases, business directories, and other sources to identify sales leads.
Make cold calls and telemarket to potential fleet card or fleet fueling customers and maintain opportunities into companywide CRM.
Utilize market knowledge and understanding of prospect's business to present fleet card options and fueling systems, using examples, and emphasizing key value-added features.
Follow the sales process from start to finish. Present, setup quotes, understand pricing structures, credit terms, prepare customer setup to complete purchases, and communicate with assigned Account Manager and Sales Manager.
Experience selling to various levels of management through a variety of presentation styles - in-person, phone or online.
Set realistic sales goals and focus on achieving those and company goals.

New account with new account number.
Inactive customers who have no purchased in over a year.
Promote and partner with other product line sales representatives for cross-selling.

Education, Skills and Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 2+ years sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Transportation industry experience preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Current Driver's license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
Strong sales drive with experience selling to industrial or commercial establishments.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence others.
Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
