Job Description Position Purpose: Responsible for supervising a team(s) of field employees in providing services to clients that result in the safe disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Coordinates subcontractors and field personnel within the job specifications and regulatory guidelines. Provides guidance and training to all field service employees. Prepares project estimates, proposals, and assists with contract preparation. Primary Duties/responsibilities: Manages team(s) including hiring, evaluating, and disciplinary actions. Complies with all applicable governmental regulations, and VES-TS policies and procedures. Recognize and act on opportunities to increase value added services that benefit customers. Maintain a professional image to clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing and/or potential problems. Comply with and enforce all compliance, health and safety, and procedures in accordance with departmental procedures. Ensure completion and accuracy of all DOT/EPA and VES-TS regulations required in submitting paperwork. Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, correcting any payroll tax related discrepancies within the payroll software and with the applicable federal, state, and local agencies. Accurate and timely preparation of all Local and Occupational Special Tax reporting, as well as any other unsupported items, that ADP currently does not support. Supports all audits, both internal and external, to ensure the Company complies with requests for payroll and tax data and to work with Auditors to successful resolution. Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local payroll tax regulations, including conducting any necessary tax research. Effective communication to the general population and executive management as necessary. Perform all year-end duties in preparation for W-2's including extensive analysis of the tax data.
