Primary Duties /Responsibilities: Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders in accordance with company policies. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain pricing, lead times, and product availability. Track and expedite outstanding purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records in the system. Work closely with accounting to resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies. Collaborate with warehouse, production, and project teams to forecast material needs and avoid shortages or overstocking. Support sourcing of new vendors or alternate products to optimize cost and supply continuity. Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues related to quality, delivery, or service. Assist with preparation of reports, including purchase activity, supplier performance, and cost savings. Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures. Review and prioritize new purchase requests from internal departments. Issue and confirm purchase orders by mid-morning. Follow up on open orders and provide delivery status updates to internal stakeholders. Respond promptly to supplier and team inquiries via email or phone. Escalate urgent shortages, delayed shipments, or vendor issues to the Purchasing Manager. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all purchasing activities throughout the day. Participate in team meetings or check-ins, as required. Close out completed orders and assist with end-of-month reporting or summaries. Qualifications Education / Experience / Background: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain support. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP or purchasing software preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Job Description Position Purpose: Process specialty feed streams that are unable to be processed in any other part of the facility in the natural state in which they were received. Feed drums, totes, and cylinders to the incinerator through direct inject nozzles to the kiln and secondary combustion chamber (SCC). Document and further code items that have been fed through the specialty feed boxes for final destruction and tracking. Primary Duties/responsibilities: Fills in Material Handler position as needed. Operates multiple forms of rolling stock equipment such as: Forklifts, man lifts, 80BBL tanker, 130BBL tanker, etc.. Ensure all paperwork and transfer logs are done properly and communicated to affected departments. Maintain “Hot Sumps” in your areas Complete daily documented rounds and inspections on all pieces of equipment for the specialty feed boxes such as: Box seals, windows, gloves, roller conveyors, pumps, vent fans, valves, feed nozzles, forklifts, fires systems, monitoring sensors, and feed wands Pull drums, totes, and cylinders from storage and stage for feeding and then return them to the approved locations when done Document all stages of the waste feeding process via electronic log, handheld scanners, and manual labeling Load roller conveyors and boxes with forklift and feed material through designated wands, manifolds, or specialized fittings Coordinate with Supervision and Incinerator Operators for changes in feed streams and time sensitive materials Maintain high level of housekeeping and ownership of the specialty feed box areas Report any spills or emergency situations to supervision and site Emergency Coordinators immediately and assist with remediation efforts and situational response Use hand tools to assist with daily tasks and container opening. These tools may include: Channel Locks, pipe wrench, air chisels, bung wrenches, screw drivers, and pneumatic cutters Assist Incineration unit with the ash and deslagging process on a weekly basis which includes loading and or shooting of SCC slag and discharging Powershots into the kiln disengaging chamber Other duties as assigned. Evaluate chemical reactivity and chemical compatibility of waste based on descriptions and/or lab results to determine plant processing including chemical batching of liquids or solids, processing under inert or ambient atmospheres, repackaging, or direct feed of waste. Maintain and update reactive database and all profiles to composition, handling, incineration, etc. to insure and expedite appropriate burn requirements Insure and monitor that all hazardous waste inventory is processed in accordance within designated time parameters. Work with appropriate operational personnel to determine the most preferred method of handling various waste streams. Prepare a variety of weekly and monthly reports to determine and insure that existing process burn plans are effective and efficient. Other duties as assigned.
