JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist:
Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies.
Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.
Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.
Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.
Licensed by either the ARRT or CNMT in the State of Vermont.

EXPERIENCE:
Twelve months of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred. That said, we'd love to hear from new graduates or Nuclear Medicine Techs who are new to the field.
SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday 9am-530pm, no weekends except call coverage
Is required to take rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays. More details - Call will be every 12 days. It will be 24 hours if it falls on a weekend (example - 7a Saturday through 7a Sunday) OR 14 hours if it falls on a weeknight (5p-7a). You will receive call pay for carrying a pager and overtime and shift differentials if called in.

Summary:
A Stepdown Registered Nurse provides care to patients who are transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units. These patients require frequent monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. They assess and manage complex patient needs, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care.
Essential Work Functions:
