James Bidzos is president and chief executive officer of Verisign. He also serves as chairman of the board of directors and has been executive chairman since August 2009. As the founder of Verisign, Bidzos is an Internet and security industry pioneer whose accomplishments include building RSA Security into the early standard-bearer for authentication and encryption, and launching Verisign as a company in 1995 to develop the digital certificate infrastructure for Internet commerce. Before returning to the president and chief executive role in August 2011, Bidzos served as Verisign's first president and CEO and also served as Verisign's chairman of the board of directors from April 1995 until December 2001, as vice chairman from December 2001 to July 2007, and as interim CEO from July 2008 to August 2009. Bidzos served as president and CEO of RSA Security from 1986 to February 1999, and then served as RSA's vice chairman from 1999 to May 2002.

As executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), George Kilguss III is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance and investor relations. He also leads all human resources activities. His career spans more than 25 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy. Before joining Verisign in May 2012, Kilguss served as senior vice president and CFO for Internap Network Services Corporation, an IT infrastructure services company. Prior to that, he served as CFO for Towerstream Corporation, a wireless Internet provider, and CFO for Stratos Global Corporation, a mobile satellite service company. He has also held senior-level positions in both investment and commercial banking companies, including Riparian Partners, Fleet Associates and Bank of Boston Corporation. Kilguss earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in economics and finance from the University of Hartford.

As executive vice president and chief operating officer at Verisign, Todd Strubbe is responsible for the global operations of the company. He brings more than 25 years of experience to Verisign. His experience and leadership have been focused on developing and delivering technology-driven business services and solutions, providing outstanding client service, and driving profitable revenue growth. From 2009 to joining Verisign in 2015, Strubbe was the president of the Unified Communications Business Segment for West Corporation, a provider of technology-driven communication services. Responsible for over $1.6 billion in revenue across North America, EMEA and APAC, he led West’s efforts to deliver best-in-class unified communications services to thousands of clients. Delivered in a managed, hosted or cloud environment, these services included conferencing and collaboration, IP telephony and network solutions, digital media and virtual event services, and inbound and outbound interactive voice and text services. Strubbe was also at West from 2001 to 2006, serving as president of its West Direct and West Interactive business units. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and he received his Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Burton S. "Burt" Kaliski, Jr. is a cryptographer, who is currently the chief technology officer (CTO) and senior vice president at Verisign. Before joining Verisign in 2011, he was the founding director of the EMC Innovation Network at EMC Corporation since its 2006 acquisition of RSA Security where he was Chief Scientist for RSA Laboratories. His notable work includes the development of such public key cryptography standards as PKCS and IEEE P1363, the extension of linear cryptanalysis to use multiple approximations, and the design of the block cipher Crab.
