Veritas Christian Academy company history timeline
Originally named Douglas County Christian School, the school grew and, in 1998, the pursuit of academic excellence was enhanced by the implementation of a classical method of instruction.
With the start of the 2004-05 school year, Veritas added tenth through twelfth grades and began offering education opportunities for students from Kindergarten through twelfth grade, thereby offering a complete educational process for children.
On September 8, 2010, Veritas Christian Academy opened its doors to 44 excited students and 12 staff members.
With a vision for a high-quality Christian academy in Metrowest Boston, a group of parents and educators had prayerfully decided to create Veritas six months earlier in the spring of 2010.
With nineteen students, Vertias Christian Academy launched in 2011 with a full two-day schedule of classes for grades JrK-8.
Veritas hosted a 40th Anniversary Gala and Groundbreaking April 16, 2019, on property just south of Lawrence as a new school facility is in the works.
