* Job Responsibilities:

* Prepare supporting documentation for internal and external audits, as needed.
* Prepare quarterly variance analysis of Veritiv financial statements for management and external auditors, and ensure schedules agree to our consolidated books and records.
* Responsible for consolidations of international entities from multiple GL systems, including re-measurement entries.
* Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end consolidation processes in the GL and Hyperion Financial Management ("HFM").
* Research and document technical accounting guidance to support management positions, as needed.
* Responsible for completing foreign currency translation adjustments, review and validation, as well as HFM entries and overrides as needed.
* Responsible for equity method joint venture accounting, ensuring monthly net earnings and quarterly distributions are recorded accurately.
* Responsible for earnings roll up and elimination entries between different legal entities across multiple GL systems.
* Develop and maintain HFM consolidation application knowledge and expertise; obtain thorough understanding of the financial reporting and GL structure.
* Responsible for intercompany loan transactions between parent company and subsidiary entities, including preparing supporting loan schedules and calculations.
* Prepare journal entries for intercompany transactions and reclassification entries during month-end close to ensure appropriate elimination entries and intercompany loan interest are recorded accurately in multiple GL systems. Ensure intercompany accounts are in balance during month-end close.
* Maintain assigned GL or subsidiary ledger accounts by reviewing documents to ensure accuracy of information and calculations, preparing supporting schedules, recording appropriate journal entries consistent with US GAAP and reconciling on a monthly basis in BlackLine.
* Collaborate with key business partners including Corporate Tax, External Reporting/Technical Accounting, FPA, Internal Auditors, External Auditors and IT on consolidations related matters.
* Participate in special projects as needed.

The Facility Solutions/JanSan Enterprise Business Development Rep is responsible for targeting, acquiring and closing large revenue opportunities at complex Enterprise accounts. This position will develop and execute the sales strategy for selling Veritiv products and services within a designated geography or industry. The Facility Solutions/JanSan Enterprise Business Development Rep is responsible for targeting, acquiring and closing large revenue opportunities at complex Enterprise accounts.
