1 - First ShiftAre you passionate about Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operations? We are looking for leaders who want to deepen their understanding of manufacturing. In this role you will rotate through 3, eight-month assignments to build leadership and functional skills within our business. Our ideal candidate has a continuous improvement mindset, a curiosity about manufacturing, and a passion for solving real world problems, through innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning.
Participants in the Operations Development Program (ODP) will complete a two-year rotational training experience that accelerates development of early career talent and produces a pipeline of Operations leaders. After successful completion of ODP, participants will transition into a position that aligns their skill sets with the needs of the business.
What You'll Do
1. Execute 3, eight-month rotations to build leadership and functional skills through experiential and formal learning. Program rotations include three of the following:
Production Area Manager
Engineering (Manufacturing, Quality, or Advanced Manufacturing)
Continuous Improvement (Operations or Business Process)
Procurement (Buyer or Commodity Manager)
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or Engineering.

Are you looking for a hands-on summer opportunity to make a visible impact on campus beauty and safety? As a Plant Services Student - Yards and Grounds/Maintenance, you'll support a wide range of seasonal maintenance tasks, from lawn care and landscaping, to event setup, and basic equipment upkeep, and assisting with construction or other maintenance projects. 3. Assist in set-up and tear-down of furniture and displays for events and office moves.
4. Patrol grounds for litter and debris, ensuring campus cleanliness and safety.

What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or equivalent by the start of employment.

The Value Stream Team Leader will assist the Value Stream Manager to create continuous product flow, utilize pull systems and to level the workload.
Create the basis for continuous improvement and employee empowerment by ensuring that standardized work and processes are followed, needed adjustments are implemented and the area is compliant with safety and 5S requirements.
Instill and maintain a positive team atmosphere in the Value Stream(s); hold regular team meetings and assign team member tasks and coordinate support activities form departments outside of the team. Utilize PDCA in conjunction with Tracking Centers and Team Improvement Boards to ensure results.
Provide effective cross training for Value Stream associates and backups from other value streams to assure the continuous smooth running of the value stream. Encourage team to stop and fix problems in order to get quality right the first time.
Work with the Value Stream Manager to develop the future state value stream map and manage the plans to achieve it as documented in the Value Steam Tracking Center. In addition, the Team Leader works with the Group Leader and the Value Stream Team to maintain Team Improvement Boards. A visually controlled environment must be developed to assure no problems are hidden.

Required Qualifications:

5. Request corrective actions upon review of certified part information during the safe launch process.
6. Execute the creation of all forms for control documents.

What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum two years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, or design engineering.
- Vermeer Level 1-3 GD&T Training.

This position is for a Modeling and Simulation Manager role supporting research and new product development in Eaton's Aerospace Mission Systems Division (MSD). MSD delivers components and systems for space life support and propulsion, air to air refueling, weapons storage and release systems, and environmental systems.
The Modeling and Simulation System Engineering (M&S_SE) Manager is responsible for building, leading, and championing the team of M&S and Systems Engineers to contribute to the development and sustainment of MSD products and systems.
The role has two primary objectives. The first is to be the line manager for the Stress/Structural Analysis Group and will require resource management skills, standard work creation, team building, performance reviews, and other related responsibilities. Second, the candidate will be accountable for driving and implementing an "analysis first" vision and culture within MSD. This will require partnering with product team leaders to identify M&S opportunities that go beyond traditional customer deliverables. A focus will be on leveraging the team to demonstrate the potential of using M&S and Systems Engineering to inform critical design decisions, mitigate schedule and technical risks, and supplement development test activities.
Because of this tight integration of this role with the business, its required for this person be located on site. The candidate will also work closely with the M&S_SE Manager located at the Orchard Park location. While the functional management responsibilities for the M&S and SE resources will be split between the managers at these two sites, the responsibility to drive and implement the complete M&S and SE culture at the respective locations is the same.
What you'll do:
* Provide technical oversight of M&S_SE team which includes review of analysis plans, participation in internal team technical reviews, and responsibility for the technical quality/completeness of work products delivered by the team.
* Build proactive communication paths with the product teams to ensure that analysis goes beyond traditional customer deliverables and is fully leveraged for risk mitigation, test plan development, and critical design decisions.
* Conduct functional management responsibilities associated with the team that include resource management, career development, performance reviews, and management of goals that align with higher level business objectives and initiatives.
* Develop standard work practices and lessons learned with the team and leverage other AEROSPACE M&S groups and leadership as appropriate.
* Provide labor hour estimates and corresponding rationale to support proposal and business development requests. Participate in gate reviews representing the M&S teams.
* Define and own metrics, created with support from product and site leadership, to measure progress of the adoption of the "analysis first" M&S mindset and culture.
* Change M&S_SE culture at your respective site location as demonstrated by IPT driven/initiated requests for inclusion of M&S_SE work scope beyond traditional deliverables.
* Serve as a peer reviewer, technical mentor, and consultant to the local site as well as other MSD and AEROSPACE sites as needed.
* You will also participate in root cause corrective action investigations that span your specific technical sub discipline (Stress Structural Analysis), as well as bid and proposal and design reviews for the M&S_SE groups.

Qualifications:
Basic qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
* Minimum ten (10) years of work experience supporting modeling and simulation and/or systems engineering.
* Minimum five (5) years of experience conducting multi-dimensional thermal, stress, or analysis of mechanical systems and components.
* Minimum three (3) years of experience of functional management experience
* Prior experience in technical leadership roles on modeling and simulation projects.
* You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible and considered for this position pursuant to applicable U.S. Federal Government contract requirements.
Preferred qualifications
* Master's degree in engineering discipline.
* 15+ years combined work experience supporting M&S and/or SE teams.
* Experience working in Aerospace Industry
* Direct experience with ANSYS Workbench, LS DYNA, AFGROW
* Direct experience with DOORS and/or CAMEO
* Demonstrated experience working with global teams.
* Membership Professional Society Related to Discipline (ex. ASME, SAE)
* Knowledge of Simulation Process Data Management (SPDM)
* Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Green Belt certification or ability to complete within 1 year
