In this role you will generate, sort, and release work orders and parts orders for productions orders to the shop floor and parts bench. We're looking for dedicated team members with a drive to make a difference. What You'll Do 1. Create and monitor work orders/transfer orders based on production schedule. 2. Create work orders for parts bench and MRP; troubleshoot and commit inventory. 3. Print shop packets and create production checklists; distribute to production lines. 4. Order/monitor VIN tags and technical manuals for correct configuration and build month/year for all machines. 5. Verify finished machine documentation, enter all information into I-Warranty for each serial numbered machine. 6. Data entry for central receiving picklists, weld shop packets, machine shop packets, and supermarket picklists. What We're Looking For - High school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience/and or training required; and/or combination of education and experience. Associate's degree preferred. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize with demonstrated ability to produce accurate, professional, and error-free documents in a timely manner. - Ability to perform intermediate computer work including spreadsheet formulas and functions. Partner with HR for early campus recruiting, intern programs, CO-OP assignments and direct hires. - Conduct business-level verification, reliability and market testing of new solutions. - Lead the business patent council and meet division objectives for Intellectual Property creation. - Manage R&D expenses and Capital spending for the Division. - Ensure new and existing product designs are of the highest quality with robust reliability through advanced modeling, simulation, reliability testing and consistent use of Design for Six Sigma. - This position will be the engineering leader for Eaton's Global Product Line for Medium Voltage Assemblies overseeing the coordination of global product development and sharing of technology across regions. - Interface with field Application Sales Engineers on highly technical product questions and issues. **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited institution. - Minimum 12 years of product engineering experience. - Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in product engineering. - Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. - MBA or equivalent business degree. - 10+ years of executive-level engineering leadership. - Active leadership in industry committees and standards organizations (IEEE, UL, NEMA, IEC, NFPA). - Expertise in New Product Development and Engineer-to-Order systems. - Deep knowledge of electrical physics, power distribution, UL/IEC safety standards. - Strong understanding of market dynamics, regulatory influences, and competitive landscape.
