The Detention Deputy is under the direct supervision of the Jail Administrator, Yankton County Sheriff and is responsible for the supervision of jail inmates, maintaining security and safety for inmates and jail staff. As part of the team at Tyne House you will be supporting people living with us with their complex needs overnight, this includes personal care, medication administration and moving and handling tasks.
