We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Specialist to manage vendor relationships, purchasing activities, and contract inventory across the organization. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.

Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and industry regulations.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
Provide procurement data and insights to support budgeting and forecasting
Assist the Director of Finance, Controller and Treasurer with special projects, such as testing applications, automating accounting systems, compiling information for special reports.

Minimal supervision is required from the Director of Finance, Controller or Treasurer, or other senior executives. Receives assignments and is monitored on a weekly or several times a month basis. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
Strong negotiation, organization, and communication skills.
Experience managing contract databases and third-party risk frameworks.
Excellent interpersonal skills providing the ability to work effectively with other company personnel, as well as vendors and others outside the company.

The Auto Physical Damage Specialist ensures accurate, timely, and fair resolution of auto physical damage claims while maintaining strong relationships with repair facilities and stakeholders. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage assigned claims to ensure outcomes align with policy language, damages, and legal requirements.
Must have the technical knowledge to write virtual repairable estimates and complete/review total loss valuations
Make accurate decisions on the determination of repairable vs total loss.
Review new losses and diary files; provide direction to body shops, appraisers, vendors, and experts.
Collaborate with internal claims professionals and management to ensure consistent, efficient and accurate handling of auto physical damage claims.
Address causation questions and approve repair scope, pricing, and methods.
Refer complex coverage or damage matters to the APD Examiner and Claim Manager.
Ensure proper file handling, documentation, and expense control.
Communicate courteously and accurately with internal and external customers regarding claim status and repair issues.
Handle a wide range of auto physical damage claims including liability, collision, comprehensive, glass, and towing.
Review subrogation demands under $3,000 for accuracy.
Mitigate and help others to mitigate advance total loss storage charges.

We are seeking an experienced claim specialist to join our team. Responsible for assisting claim professionals and the direct handling of complex Auto Physical Damage claim files, including the monitoring and supervision of the Vermont Mutual Guaranteed Repair Network(GRN), independent appraisers, attorneys, vendors and claim personnel to ensure the timely, accurate and fair investigation, evaluation, repair and disposition of Auto Physical Damage claims. Employee should possess demonstrated expertise in handling significant higher value Auto Physical Damage repairable and total loss claims..
