SUMMARY
Responsible for operating production machinery to meet plant production goals and perform necessary maintenance and repairs on the assigned equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform all required functions to operate production equipment as assigned
Help provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production
Help diagnose problems with production equipment
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

* Maintain and execute internal audit schedule and lead effort in completion of corrective and preventative actions.
* Participate in, lead, and direct continuous improvement efforts. Responsible for achievement of quality department goals and objectives.
* Manage programs on gauging, calibration, capability, statistical techniques, control plans & PFMEAs.
* Maintain the incoming inspection process including receiving inspection instructions.
Education and Training
* Four-year degree preferred, master's degree desirable.
* American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification as a Certified Quality Manager (CQM) preferred.
* Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt desirable.
Minimum Qualifications
* 5 years Quality experience in the automotive or heavy manufacturing sector preferred.
* Minimum three years implementing quality systems in a manufacturing/design environment.
* Experience with processes (machining, assembly, kitting, and distribution), products and/or industry highly desirable.
* Ability to prioritize, plan and execute multiple responsibilities, projects and activities.
* Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
* Supervision/leadership experience preferred.

As a supervisor at AFB, you will set goals for your team that comply with schedules, organize workflow, delegate tasks, train your direct reports as well as new hires, and find ways for your team to be successful and comply with AFB's vision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Confirm operators are working safely, adhering to all policies and procedures
Ensure correct orders are run in a timely manner in the order that makes most sense to the business in Liquid and Dry
Ensure operators are following procedures to reduce quality errors
Verify IFS is up-to-date, correct, and all shop orders are closed out
Fill out an incident report if a situation occurs that violates policy and/or procedure
Report out shift notes every work day
Daily Schedule adherence utilizing Visual Management, IFS and hour-by-hour document
Daily Visual Management updating
Inventory counts daily
Work with Maintenance to ensure equipment runs properly
COVID 19 safe workplace playbook adherence
Delegation of daily work to each report including hour by hour creation
Training of all employees on new rules and regulations and equipment, as well as new hires
Help to resolve issues and disputes
Evaluate performance and provide feedback
