We are looking for an enthusiastic mechanical engineering intern to provide support for our Cleveland Mechanical Department. You will have. CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER IV Location: CLEVELAND, OHIO Start Date: 02/01/2026 - 05/31/2027 (duration to be confirmed). Overview Summary AECOM is seeking a qualified Construction Project Manager (CPM) to provide PM/CM support for a Federal Building Fire Alarm Modernization construction project. The position is full-time embedded on-site field construction support role. Position Summary PM supporting General Services Admin. (GSA) "Owner" and their agencies "Tenants". Duties involve managing the Owner's interests (not the construction team) on a single project, at the project site to achieve specified objectives. Involves engaging and leading the project delivery team providing CPM / Owner's Representative supporting the project completion and FA Class-A Acceptance. Reports directly to the AECOM Business Development Leader. Manages the project to achieve specified objectives. Involves overall planning, coordination, and control of a project support to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time, within budget and of the intended quality. Serve as Owners Rep. during design, construction, and Cx/closeout activities - as primary point of contact in the field - collaborates and coordinates per the contract and communication plan with the GSA CO (and the PM/COR, Ppty Mgr, O&M, key stakeholders, etc); and interfaces with the project Contractor (DB team), providing proactive project assessment and support, and maintains team engagement, and client satisfaction. Provide feedback on all on-site activities and escalating issues to the GSA CO, PM/COR. Oversight of the Fire Alarm Modernization work includes ancillary work and systems integration and modernization as required. This position is independent of and DOES NOT supervise, manage, or direct the DB Team or their Subs / Trade Partners. Delivers revenues resulting from exceptional quality and execution of projects. Maintains profit margins and plans and completes project(s) without write-downs or multiplier erosion. Builds / supports collaborative project teams. Provides TQR and oversight of I/QAM work that monitors and reports on quality of completed and ongoing work, calls for support staff. Leads team in providing comprehensive CMa support services and owner's representation, provides on-site field observation for conformance with the SOW, Contract, GSA CBS (Core Building Standards) applicable codes and standards, provides summary progress documentation of the construction activities, implementing robust Quality Assurance monitoring and assessment of the Design Build Contractor's Quality Control Plan, staff management, execution of work, reviewing and validating contractor's self-performed inspections, and certifying work in place for recommending payment of Invoices and accepting work, provides real time feedback to the client regarding scope of work completion and contract compliance; recognizes risk and uncertainty and develops plans to mitigate and eliminate such, and operates to minimize unsatisfactory work and exposure to claims. Evaluates Contractor capabilities to provide required quality and maintain schedule. Typically supports projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors). This individual in charge of this task must have: Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, business or construction management, plus six (6) years of related experience / demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * Have at least fifteen (15) years of experience in developing and maintaining complex, multi-year project management activities including but not limited to Developing/Controlling budgets Scheduling and coordination of projects in existing, secure, and occupied facilities. Managing interdisciplinary teams. Integrating competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes Familiarity with Federal and local government office building projects, with procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements Proven Experience performing and supporting the successful completion of similar projects in comparable environments and conditions. * Professional Engineering or Architectural Registration / License a plus. CMAA Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project management Professional (PMP) a plus. * Federal (or state/municipal) governmental experience. * Prior experience in the support and management of successfully completed design-build construction of Fire Alarm or critical systems modernizations in occupied buildings. * Prior experience working on GSA and/or other federal agency or government construction projects including Federal projects at operational, complex, secure facilities such as US Courts, Airports, Prisons, State or Municipal sites, or demonstrated equivalency. * Experience supporting and/or managing complex projects as a CPM. * Knowledge of and proven experience with managing planning, design (design and constructability reviews, submittals, value added); construction (CM/PM support services, representation, field observation, and contract management), closeout and warranty (Cx support, warranty backcheck) phases. * Thorough knowledge of engineering and construction principles, practices and procedures, familiarity with applicable codes, laws, regulations, and overlay Federal guidelines / Contract administration, principles of project management, and field observation and supervision. * Professional demeanor, attentive customer service skills, clear and detailed oral and written communication, collaborative team building skills, lead by example, proactive problem solver, seeking de-escalation. Self-directed. * Proficiency and competency with MS Suite, PIMS programs, support software (CAD, BIM, Bluebeam, Structions, Procore, Kahua, etc). Who You Are: Individual will possess knowledge and experience to support Versar Global Solutions' team performance on assigned United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Recurring Maintenance and Minor Repair (RMMR) task orders. This position work in the Project Management Office (PMO) for the Deputy Program Manager and is responsible for the overall approach for performing recurring maintenance activities required by the task order. This includes developing and documenting maintenance procedures as well as coordinating and scheduling maintenance events; reviewing recurring maintenance (RM) reports; Facility Maintenance Plans (FMP) updates; maintaining all copies of the maintenance binders, both physical and digital; preparation of the three-week look ahead schedule; updating of schedules and reports in accordance with the company's quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. *This position is contingent upon award. What You'll Do: Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with contract requirements. Manage contract master schedules as well as the three-week look ahead schedules, which encompass maintenance, repair work, quality, and safety inspections. Review RM reports and deficiency lists for completeness, quality, accuracy, and contract compliance. Route documents for corrections and/or signatures through multiple entities, ensuring timelines required by the contract are met. Upload approved report versions into the USACE Resident Management System (RMS). Coordinate notification of maintenance visits with project management and ensure documentation into computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Coordinate with field personnel to ensure accurate and updated FMPs. Document inspection dates and RM report submission and approval dates, among others. Create/update CMMS for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) site details, maintenance schedules, and repair work schedules if needed. Track, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow project management team to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reports. File and manage cloud-based programs and/or share drive files with RM reports and documentation. Initiate purchase requisitions in the CMMS for subcontractors doing RM events and route to project team for approval. Review/approve invoices related to RM events and repair work for contract compliance, accuracy, and quality. Attend project update meetings, ensuring accurate lists and statuses for work assigned. Conduct/support initial site visits for equipment inventorying as well as visits to USACE HQ for end-of-year reviews, if needed. Other duties as assigned by the management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in right of way title experience and a proven track record in handling land database technology. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. This position will be working across multiple TRC projects, closely with TRC's land management team. Responsibilities: * Will work across multiple TRC land projects, as well as with the land management team across various administrative support needs. * Responsible for database management and document generation as required by the right of way procedure for the project. * Assures that the Land files are kept in accordance with the Land Procedure; oversees all Land administration. * Other duties may be assigned and may vary according to project scope and the right of way procedure for the project. * Ensures that all right of way data is being input into the database correctly. * Responsible for the accuracy of all right of way data exports and reports generated from the database. * Assists the Manager in producing land acquisition cost totals and forecasts for the project when required. * Produces reports from the database as requested. * Works closely with project personnel and the Land Manager to assess the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of reports. * Assures all task follow the approved Project Procedures. * Assembles and maintains right of way tract files according to the approved Project Procedures. * Maintains electronic copies of landowner documents as required by the approved Project Procedures. * Oversees and assists in the preparation of all acquisition packages prior to issuing to Land Agents. * Reviews all executed documents for accuracy. * Reviews payments for easements and damages. * Prepares ownership, survey permission and construction line lists. * Prepares releases and subordinations for mortgages and liens when required by the approved Project Procedures. * Assist in landowner mail outs and tracks registered and certified mail receipts. * Records executed documents in the appropriate county after approval by Manager or Supervisor. * Administers line list reports, survey restrictions reports, and construction restrictions reports. * Reviews completed files for execution by all parties in interest, checks for proper notarizations, assures all supporting forms have been properly executed, transfers all original documentation to office file and sends all required instruments for recording. * Reviews tract files for completeness and compliance with the approved Project Procedures. * Reviews each condemnation file for completeness and transmits to Manager. * Arranges for transfer of hardcopy tract files to client at project completion. * Will support the administrative needs of the land management team. * Adhere to project Safety Plan. * This position will report to a land manager or director. Qualifications Requirements Education: * Bachelor's Degree in real property related field preferred, completed training by an authorized real estate company, training courses offered by the IRWA, or paralegal certification is a plus. Oversee a portfolio of transmission line programs and projects, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives. Drive early identification and mitigation of technical, resourcing, and execution risks across the portfolio. Ensure effective integration between engineering, construction, procurement, and operations at a programmatic level. What You'll Bring Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the electric utility industry, with demonstrated leadership in engineering, program management, and/or management of high-voltage transmission projects across multiple phases and regions. Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university required; Master's degree or equivalent graduate education in Engineering, Business, or Project Management strongly preferred. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred, with the ability to serve as a recognized technical authority and executive engineering leader. Proven track record of leading large, multidisciplinary engineering organizations and portfolios, delivering complex, high-risk transmission programs safely, on schedule, and within budget.
