The Technical Sales Manager, Digital Services will be a senior leader in driving growth in our Digital Services platform and specifically our Predictive Maintenance service offering. This individual will lead the technical sales efforts required to support existing Service Sales personnel in selling our Service Offerings utilizing our predictive maintenance model.
Responsibilities:
Provides guidance on sales planning, pipeline identification, and go to market strategy.
Provides sales staff with technical assistance and support for technical documentation, customer facing presentations & engagements including leading customer communications.
Work with Sales teams to maintain Service Sales Pipeline so that company has visibility to sales initiatives.
Participates as needed in account planning efforts and engagement strategies for key clients.
Provides industry feedback to product managers for product improvements and roadmaps
Represents the company and actively participates in key customer interactions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree in Engineering.
7+ years' experience in related role.
Proficient in Data Center design and BMS/EPMS/SCADA systems.
Understanding of relevant architectural and structural codes and standards.
Excellent Communication Skills, both written and oral.
Excellent Organizational Skills & Time Management.

The Sales Leadership Development Program (SLDP) is a rotational program with the goal of creating future leaders amongst our sales team. The GPDO team mission is to continuously develop and improve our Product Lifecycle Management Processes, which includes New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI), Sustaining, and Phase Out. The Continuous Improvement Lead is responsible for identifying and leading initiatives that reduce Vertiv's product development cycle time - the manager will be responsible for defining and driving Operational Excellence in the product development process for assigned processes which may change over time. This role is targeted to focus on the SFA (Special Feature Addition) and Phase Out processes initially.
The Continuous Improvement Manager act on process improvement actions from many sources, including our Operating Model KPIs, Leadership actions, Lessons Learned, lean workshops and Kaizens. The Continuous Improvement Manager will use lean principles, identify waste, and continuously improve NPDI processes. Process improvements will be documented in Standard Operating Procedures, built into the Operating model, and accompanied by communications and training for process users.
The Continuous Improvement Manager will support on the job training of affected functions for key process steps in the NPDI process. It is anticipated improvements can occur across any of the functions in the development process - not just engineering. Additionally, then manager may engage in assisting PM's in documenting their critical path, summarizing the critical path norms across the portfolio, comparing the complexity rating of projects to TTM performance, understanding root causes and recommending corrective actions for projects with high Schedule Slip and/or TTM, and helping to drive accountability for Schedule Slip and TTM. This work may will also yield sources of best practice to further incorporate into process updates.
The role will entail a combination of working closely with Business Unit Project Managers as well as supporting functional team members to define critical path steps, sequencing, and areas for improvement required. This person will work closely with the GPDO team and functions to implement necessary process improvements and actions.
This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Columbus, OH or Westerville, OH location.
Responsibilities:
* (80%) Identify, prioritize, develop, and implement lean product development process improvements
* (20%) Learn the NPDI process and be capable to mentor/train and execute the process.
Requirements:
* BS in Engineering or a closely related field, or equivalent required; Advanced degree preferred but not required
* Design for Six Sigma / Lean Six Sigma / Design Thinking experience preferred

Experience Required

This is an Engineering Test Technician role is in the Product Integrity department of the Power Management business unit. The Product Integrity team setups and executes test cases to validation new AC Power products. Products may have a regional scope or a global scope.
The Engineering Test Technician will setup the unit under test and the instrumentation as per the test plan. They will operate the unit under test and collect data as per the individual test cases. While executing the test cases, the technician will make observations and keep notes regarding the unit under test's performance. All of the data collected and the technician's notes are entered into the test results by the technician. The technician participates in daily standup meetings, keeps their work areas clean and safe, and assists with keeping all the test labs clean and safe.
This position will be based onsite at our Delaware, OH location. This will be a 2nd Shift position will hours being 3:00pm - 12:00am. There will be training for 2-3 months on 1st shift to start.
Responsibilities:
* Follow safety policies.
* Setup the unit under test and other equipment which entails connecting large cables (up to 50lbs).
* Setup instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power meters, CTs, voltage probes, and other equipment).
* Execute test cases, operate unit under test, operate the instrumentation, collect data, and document the results.
* Troubleshoot and correct problems with test setups and with units under test.
* Suggest continuous improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
* Associate of Science majoring in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or military certification achieved.
* 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
* Broad knowledge of electrical and mechanical test techniques.
* Experience with 208/230/480V/600V 3-phase 60/50 Hz wiring and equipment.
* Experience with 120v 1-phase 60Hz wiring and equipment.
* Experience with instrumentation and low volt wiring.
* Experience with electrical safety tools and techniques.
* Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* 7+ years of experience in high-power electrical systems testing; management or team leadership experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of large UPS systems, PDUs, STSs, and/or energy storage systems.
* Hands-on experience with load banks and high-current, high-voltage test environments.
* Demonstrated experience implementing 5S and Lean principles in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
* Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in data center, critical power, or mission-critical infrastructure environments.
* Familiarity with relevant standards (UL, IEC, IEEE).
* Experience supporting factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT).

The Director, IT Systems Product Strategy - Americas ensures alignment between Americas Sales organization, Americas Sales Operations organization, Americas Finance organization, and the IT Systems Business Unit organization regarding pipeline, orders, sales, and other key financial metrics for the IT Systems Business Unit. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Strategy and Portfolio Growth for the Americas, this role will also drive visibility and monitoring of regional IT Systems product margins, including pricing initiatives, VAVE, cost-out programs, etc. The role will lead product-related strategic planning processes for the Americas region related to the IT Systems Business unit. It will also define product business cases for new product development and execute on existing products. Finally, this role will serve as a unified market and customer intelligence provider for the Americas Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead analysis of and efforts to improve the margin and profitability of the IT Systems Business Unit and its subsidiary Product Lines.
Serve as a key contributor for the Americas Region for IT Systems related topics in Pipeline, Orders, Sales, and Demand Planning meetings.
Define and execute pricing strategies in partnership with the IT Systems Business Unit, Americas Finance, Sales, and Sales Ops.
Serve as the key stakeholder for the Americas region for IT Systems related NPDI product launches.
Liaise closely with the Americas IT Systems Technical Sales/Application Engineering Teams.
Research market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
Partner with the IT Systems Business Unit, Sales and Sales Ops to ensure Sales Enablement processes and best practices are established for new and evolving products.
Collect voice of customers and product business cases and share with global products teams.
Develop and track metrics to evaluate post-launch sales performance of new offerings, including pipeline and quotation.
Lead IT Systems Strategic Planning efforts for the Americas Region, partnering with the IT Systems Business Unit, the Americas Strategy Team, the Americas Finance Team, and Americas Sales Teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration is preferred.
8-10 years in technical, product service, strategic planning, sales, marketing or directly related experience.
Experience with IT Systems products and solutions preferred.
Strong business acumen and ability to act as a CEO for the products being covered.
Ability to quickly develop cross-functional relationships to achieve business objectives.
Technical expertise to translate stakeholder needs/pain points to solutions.
Able to combine long-term and short-term goals by setting priorities.
Ability to interact with all levels within the organization from entry level to executive.
