Akshay Sonar (Parolkar) holds the designation of Vertoz’s Chief Finance Officer and handles A to Z of finance. He has been working with Vertoz since the beginning of 2016.

He looks after developing the financial well-being of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services. He is responsible for drafting and implementing growth plans. He specializes in areas like fund management, risk management, payroll management, cost management, managing regulatory compliances with the regulatory authorities.

He also handles the financial reporting and helps to improve Vertoz’s financial controls, including those of its group entities. He has also led and overseen Vertoz’s recent IPO listing process, leading it to success.

Apart from work, he loves to tutor and mentor his juniors. He reveres books for being a source of perennial knowledge that they are! He is also a practitioner of the rare art of astrology.
