RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards (e.g., handling product according to preferred work methods, scanning product as it is delivered into the store).
Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, company vehicle maintenance reports and pre- and post-trip reports are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis, ensures all invoices are accurate and turned in daily and all damages and shortages are reported promptly).
Ensures all food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines (e.g., proper temperatures are maintained in the delivery vehicle, product is inspected for visible damages prior to delivery, product is delivered and stored to prevent cross contamination) and maintains sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer; assists with maintaining sanitary conditions in the warehouse and yard.
Develops and establishes good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service with clear communication.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.

The Service Sales Business Development Manager develops tactical and strategic customer plans to meet financial orders, sales and margin goals. In this role, the Business Development Manager will be responsible to grow the ABB EL Services portfolio including service engineering solutions, hardware solutions, aftermarket parts, and ABB Ability Digital Solutions. The Business Development Manager will own identifying, developing, and closing orders while supporting both the businesses short term and long-term goals. To achieve these goals, the Business Development Manager will access the market by leveraging a combination of direct end customer engagement, the ABB EL Rep Network, ABB's C&I, OEM, and Utility Sales Channels, Distribution Customers, and Direct End-Users.
In this role you will play a crucial role in implementing the service sales strategy, with a focus on penetrating installed base and promoting various upgrade, retrofit and value-added solutions.
The work model for the role is: Remote, [#LI-Remote] in the state of Virginia. This role requires travel within the assigned territory of Virginia.
Your role and responsibilities:
• Provide sales leadership in assigned geography through the formulation and execution of strategies that leverage local operational service solutions capabilities, ABB Rep Network customer access, and OEM / Distribution channels.
• Maintain / Grow service volume at identified traditional ABB EL Services accounts and maintain accurate and up to date records of all opportunities and disposition opportunities as they evolve in ABB's CRM System (Salesforce.com) (SFDC accuracy is critical to role)
• Establish strong relationships with ABB Reps; implement account planning and pacing processes to ensure Reps are focused on promoting and selling service solutions in the market
• Collaborate with ABB's C&I and OEM, and Utility sales team to leverage existing relationships with distributors, OEMs, and Utility customers to promote the ABB EL Services portfolio

Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of experience in an industrial or utility sales role); Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering preferred; Minimum 5 years of experience years of experience in sales or marketing
Sound knowledge of electrical power studies, switchgear, circuit breakers and protective relaying and the industrial, commercial and utility market
Demonstrated success in developing new customer volume / trade area. Experience and strong domain knowledge of working within the Virginia market and selling into the industry segments within that territory.
Industry experience in Marine, Utilities, Manufacturing, Material Handling, Pharmaceutical, Water / Waste Water, Metals, Mining, Pulp and Paper, and/or Chemical and Petrochemical preferred.
In-depth knowledge of industrial and utility applications for services, repairs and products preferred.

Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper-nickel pipes using SMAW and GTAW processes, including fusion inserts and open root welding.
Execute mirror welds using SMAW and GTAW processes.
Use an oxygen/propane heating torch for pre-heating materials as required.
Utilize fillet gauges, butt gauges, and a six-inch scale to ensure accurate measurements and weld quality.
Work in physically demanding environments such as shipboard settings, sub-assemblies, ladders, and staging areas.
Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, particularly those relevant to shipbuilding and industrial environments.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of five years of commercial or naval experience as a first-class pipe welder.
Proficient in SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW/MIG welding techniques.
Ability to perform welding in challenging positions (6G/6GR) and environments.
Experience with welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper-nickel pipe materials.
Ability to use precision measuring tools such as fillet gauges, butt gauges, and scales to inspect welds.
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues on complex projects.
Strong commitment to safety practices and knowledge of OSHA regulations in the shipbuilding and industrial sectors.

Your role and responsibilities:
Drive implementation of service partner strategy by defining objectives, key results, and milestones in collaboration with service management and channel teams, and monitoring progress of related initiatives.
Lead service partner readiness programs, ensuring partners have the necessary training, certifications, technical documentation, tools, and support to deliver ABB services effectively.
Develop and manage partner enablement programs including onboarding processes, technical training curricula, certification programs, and ongoing competency development aligned with product launches and service offerings.
