Vestmark CEO and leadership

John has served as a member of our board of directors since June 2014. John co-founded Vestmark, Inc., a wealth-management SaaS technology company, and has served as its chief executive officer since 2008 and served as its president and chief operating officer from 2003 to 2008. Prior to co-founding Vestmark, John co-founded DataSage, Inc., an enterprise data analytics software company, and served as its vice president of engineering from 1996 to 2001 leading to its acquisition by Vignette Corporation. Following the acquisition, John served as senior director of engineering at Vignette Corporation from 2001 to 2003. John holds an S.B. degree in electrical engineering and an S.B. degree in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Mr.Johnson founded Vestmark in February of 2001. Prior to founding Vestmark, Mr.Johnson was the Principle Architect of the Personalization Products Division at Vignette Corporation (NASDAQ: VIGN) responsible for the architecture and design of all Personalization Products. Mr. Johnson joined Vignette through their acquisition of DataSage in January 2000. Mr. Johnson was a co-founder of DataSage and served as the Director of Engineering and Lead Architect responsible for all product design and development. Prior to joining DataSage, Mr. Johnson had more than 15 years of experience with the DOD developing real-time distributed systems. Mr. Johnson holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and both a BS and MS of Engineering from Virginia Tech where he studied Engineering Mechanics, Computer Science, and Digital System Design.

Nick Thurlow is a Chief People Officer at Vestmark and is based in Wakefield, Massachusetts. He has worked as Compensation & Benefits Manager and Technical Recruiter at Cabletron Systems; Human Resources Manager at Boston Technology Corporation; and Director, Human Resources at Mavenir. Nick attended Boston College and Hartwick College.
