Be proficient using the PIMS and aid others on the team in their use of the technology.
Act responsibly given the pharmacy holdings of the practice and keep controlled substance logs.

Clean workspaces after every patient or patient lab sample interaction.
Participation in self-development courses and Chewy Vet Care required compliance training.

AVSE is a brand new 20,500-square-foot facility that houses ER, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, and Neurology. Together, we will strive to deliver advanced medical treatment to our patients, compassionate and transparent communication to their families, and a collaborative workspace where staff well-being matters. Under the direction of our highly experienced Medical Director, and with the back-end business support of Ethos Veterinary Health, AVSE has been a welcome addition to the patients and families of Alpharetta and the surrounding communities!
Our hospital includes: Four well-equipped surgical suites, dedicated canine and feline ICU wards, CUBEX mini units, dedicated isolation wards, CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Digital Radiology, 10 exam rooms, Ezy Vet with Smart flow patient management system, and ample office and conference room space.

We pride ourselves in maintaining a nursing staff that is highly technically skilled in all aspects of veterinary specialty medicine.
As an emergency facility, we do not do routine veterinary care such as vaccines, elective surgeries (spays/neuters), or boarding. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best:
Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' emergency and critical care needs.

Emergency/Critical Care Consults: We offer in-hospital referrals to an emergency/critical care specialist who performs ultrasounds, and endoscopic procedures and helps with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
Radiology Services: Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high-quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. We also perform detailed Ultrasounds (abdomen, heart, etc)
Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site.
Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide serum chemistry, hematology, serology, blood gases, urinalysis, and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, and shampoos to meet the needs of your pet.
