Key Responsibilities: - Patient Care: Provide direct care to animals, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs. - Diagnostic Assistance:** Assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures. Collect and prepare samples for analysis - Surgical Support: Prepare animals for surgery, assist during surgical procedures, and provide post-operative care. - Client Communication: Educate pet owners on health, nutrition, and preventive care. Address client questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy. - Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including patient history, treatment plans, and progress notes. - Medical Procedures: Perform a range of medical procedures including catheter placement, IV fluid administration, and wound care. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with veterinarians, fellow RVTs, and support staff to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients. - Facility Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including sterilization of equipment and proper disposal of waste. Qualifications: - Education & Certification: Must be a licensed Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in the state of [Your State].
