Safely restrain patients for doctors and technicians during tests and procedures Assist with obtaining radiographs Assist with admit and discharge of patients, as well as owner visits Assist with the aftercare of deceased patients Performing in-hospital laboratory work Help provide emergency first aid to sick or injured animals Assist with the collection and submission of laboratory samples such as blood, urine, stool, or tissue Attend scheduled departmental and staff meetings as well as required training sessions Actively participate in continuing education requirements and complete assigned training modules for position. Actively pursue knowledge pertinent to position. May be required to learn client liaison duties depending upon hired shift.
