Veterinary Assistant - Part Time -Weekends Lodi Veterinary Care Wisconsin Lodi Veterinary Care is looking for motivated students who want to advance their skills while assisting our Livestock doctors on the weekends. We are looking to hire pre-veterinary or 1st year veterinary students for our Weekend Assistant Position. Duties include assisting our Veterinarians with in-clinic hospitalized patients, vaccinations, deworming, castrations, semen evaluations, and other Livestock related services. In addition to valuable livestock experience, your job responsibilities include Livestock & Equine barn chores Saturday AM/PM and Sunday AM/PM, cleaning stalls, sterilizing surgery packs, and other tasks. Students are required to work a rotation every 3rd or 4th weekend regardless if the weekend falls on a holiday. The weekend shift begins on Saturday morning at 7:00am and continues until emergency calls are completed on Saturday afternoon. Barn chores and other listed tasks continue through the weekend.
