There is a great work life balance specific to time in the office - people actually leave the office by 5 for the most part.
Everything is so structured and bureaucratic that it stifles creativity and trying new ways of doing things.
The flexibility I had in terms of time working remotely
I don't know the CEO
I knew the person I interviewed with so I didn't prepare
It often feels pretty dismal in the office. I don't know how to create a lighter less heavy feel to the office, but that's what I would have wanted.
I thought the compensation was impressive.
I think there is more diversity in the VA than in other corporate jobs I have had
Laughing with colleagues and finishing big projects
Working in the Healthcare field taking care of others has always been what I've wanted to do.
Only when co-workers don't want to work as a team.
Seeing and taking care of different Veterans from day to day to listening to how they fought for our country.
The benefits
Not many work from home opportunities
Vacation time, health insurance
Networking within the company.
Lack of growth opportunities.
Annual and sick leave policies
Friendly atmosphere, professionalism
Changing in commission and change in CEO
life insurance and paid holidays
Helping Veterans, the pay, and the vacation time.
It's become a little boring.
Sick leave days and vacation days
