About VCA Sawmill Animal Hospital: At VCA Sawmill Animal Hospital, our mission is to help pets live longer, healthier, and happier lives. With expertise in the latest procedures and treatments, we ensure every patient receives exceptional preventive and healing care. Now that our renovation is complete, our facility features 10 exam rooms, 2 surgical suites, a dental procedure room, new CT imaging services, a state-of-the-art physical therapy department, and an updated grooming department. Schedule: Part- time opportunity, evening and weekend shifts. Compensation: $16.50 - $17/hr and the starting range is determined by license, skill set, and years of experience in the field. What You'll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities): * Assist veterinarians and technicians with exams and procedures * Take patient histories and perform TPRs (temperature, pulse, respiration) * Restrain animals safely and compassionately * Prepare and clean exam rooms * Assist with radiographs, lab sample collection, and basic in-house diagnostics * Maintain accurate medical records and support charting * Provide client education and ensure excellent service during visits * Support surgery prep and recovery as needed * Help maintain a clean, stocked, and organized hospital environment Ready to build a career where compassion and collaboration are at the heart of what you do?
