Pharmaceuticals & Medical Records • Administer medications as prescribed by the DVM (within scope of practice). • Accurately fill and dispense medications, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. • Maintain thorough and accurate medical records for all patient care activities. Clinic Operations & Team Support • Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile clinic environment, including kennels, cages, and treatment areas. • Assist with inventory management of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals. • Provide guidance and support to Veterinary Assistants, contributing to training and team efficiency. • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients during intake and discharge, including post-operative instructions. • Adhere to all clinic policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. • Contribute to a positive, low-drama workplace culture by working collaboratively, respectfully, and with a shared commitment to the clinic's mission. Qualifications Experience • 2+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic, preferably in a high-volume surgical or spay/neuter setting. • Advanced hands-on experience with surgical preparation and anesthesia support. • Controlled Substance Permit or ability to obtain one.
