Laparoscopic/orthopedic surgery capability is available in the recent 2000 square‑foot small animal expansion. Equine surgery center with gas anesthesia allows for routine surgeries. Approximately 60 mares a year are bred with cooled or frozen semen. Mixed animal associate veterinarian would spend 2 weeks in small animal, with a 4‑day work week, then 2 weeks large animal with a 5‑day work week. Small animal associate would work a 4‑day work week with rotating days off during the week. No small animal emergency. Mixed or large animal associate veterinarian would share large animal emergencies on a once every 4‑week rotation. Compensation includes CE credit, health insurance and paid time off. Candidate must have a current veterinary license to practice medicine.
