Location: Boulder, CO Compensation: $25 - $32/hour based on experience +$$4.50 overnight shift differential Schedule: Full Time ( 2 positions available) Monday - Wednesday 8pm - 8:30am Monday - Thursday 9pm - 7:30am Responsibilities: Patient Care: Triage and manage emergency calls and walk-ins, conduct patient assessments, and provide comprehensive nursing care. Medical Procedures: Perform venipuncture, place catheters, and execute emergency procedures such as airway management and oxygen administration. Laboratory Work: Process and evaluate lab specimens, run CBCs, coagulation tests, and handle urinalysis. Client Communication: Engage with pet owners, provide discharge instructions, and support clients with empathetic communication. General Duties: Maintain and stock ICU/Isolation supplies, ensure a clean and organized work environment, and handle reception tasks as needed. Requirements: Licensing: Must be CVT, LVT, RVT, or PVT certified in Colorado. Experience: Two years in emergency/critical care preferred. Skills: Excellent communication, ability to work independently, strong technical skills in veterinary procedures, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. On-Call Requirement: One shift every 4 weeks after training completion. Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
