We believe in work/life balance and offer a schedule of
four-9 hour shifts with rotating four-hour shifts on Saturdays . All of our after-hour emergencies are referred
to our sister hospital, Moore Lane Veterinary Hospital which means none of our
doctors are ever on call. To ensure our
doctors have a strong work/life balance, we only schedule wellness exams for
their last appointment before lunch and their last appointment at the end of
the day. Most days, our doctors are
headed home about 15 minutes after closing. We care about our team and that shows in our benefits
which include a competitive salary (our current doctors bring in around $115k-160k per year on a pro-sal model) , CE allowance of $,1500 annually, and three
days paid, state and DEA licensing fees, enrollment into VIN, liability and
malpractice insurance, 401K with company match, generous portion of health

We are looking to add a surgeon to join our thriving and growing practice. The hospital is equipped with 2 dedicated surgery suites, 32 slice helical CT, Ultrasound, Voyant Vessel Sealer, Electrocautery, Companion CRT system to process PRP, Rehab room with an Underwater Treadmill and Endoscopy. We aspire to add an MRI and more equipment to our endoscopy unit (STORZ) to be able to perform laparoscopic surgery, thoracoscopy, arthroscopy, etc based on surgeon preferences. We regularly perform orthopedic surgeries (TPLO, fracture repair, FHO), neuro surgery (hemilaminectomy) in addition to the occasional more advanced soft tissue surgeries (cholecystectomy, median sternotomy, thoracotomy, liver lobe resection, etc). The hospital is supported with 24/7 support staff and doctor staffing until midnight (hoping to have doctors 24/7 in the near future). The position would entail a 3 or 4 day work week (3, 12s or 4, 10s) based on surgeon preference. No weekend or on call requirements however the ability to perform an emergent surgery on a weekend would be beneficial in the event it is warranted.
