ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
AB Genetics (Snake River Farms Program) (40%)
Maintain the health and well-being of the Wagyu bull herd, ensuring bulls are sound and fertile prior to the breeding season.
Ensure compliance with all State-mandated trichomoniasis testing requirements.
Assist with the planning and execution of bull and heifer development programs.
Opportunity to be involved in advanced reproduction projects such as artificial insemination (AI), embryo transfer (ET), and ovum pick-up (OPU).
Support research initiatives through data collection, pregnancy diagnosis, and ranch consulting.
AB Livestock (40%)

No surgeries, emergencies, or sick visits.
A trained staff runs operations, transactions and helps to safely restrain pets. Clinics are located inside Petco retail locations. Appointments help manage traffic to get you out the door on time.
VETCO TOTAL CARE HOSPITAL relief shifts include preventive care, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures. You will partner with the area medical director before your shifts to review the comfort level of cases. Hospitals are equipped with digital patient records, surgical suite, Butterfly IQ+ handheld ultrasound imaging, digital and dental X-ray, Vetology Radiograph Interpretation AI, and on-site labs. Licensed and trained hospital staff. No overnights or emergency on-call. The appointment-based model helps manage traffic and gets you out the door on time!
REQUIREMENTS
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
DEA in good standing preferred for full-service Vetco Total Care hospital relief shifts

The Travel ER veterinarian role provides the best of both worlds, combining the flexibility and great travel options of an independent relief veterinarian with the stability and safety of a full-time position with outstanding, industry-leading benefits! Our Travel Veterinarians are awarded all the benefits of full-time staff members!
Qualifications:
* 3 or more years of ER Experience or ER Internship trained + 1 to 2 years of ER Experience.
* Specialty/Emergency Experience strongly required.
* Surgical Experience/skills required.
Hours of work:
* Full-time position: To meet the minimum requirements to qualify for full-time benefits, PTO, and discretionary funds, our travel veterinarians are obligated to an average minimum of 9 shifts/4-week block. Lowest shift minimum in the industry for full-time benefits!
* Part-time position: There is a minimum of 3 shifts per 4 weeks for PT. Eligible for part-time benefits with travel coverage. For those with agreed-upon shift requirements that are less than what qualifies for full-time benefits, limited benefits options are available and are defined on a case-by-case basis.
Scheduling:
The scheduling of shifts shall be managed through our online scheduling platform, Jobs Unleashed, and travel ER Veterinarians will have the first pick of those shifts. Candidates shall have direct control of scheduling shifts following guidelines set by the team manager regarding focus hospitals, regions, and/or shift types. Any shifts that exceed the agreed-upon minimum are optional and follow the compensation model listed below.

* Typical earnings from $200,000 annually to $300,000+ annually.
