About the Role

What You'll Need to Succeed
DVM required

About the Role
This site was initially focused as a CDC quarantine facility but has grown to a center of excellence for discovery phase biopharmaceutical studies focusing on NHPs for non-GLP general therapy, early discovery studies, and model development. The site offers a flexible and dynamic work environment where staff can engage in various aspects of research, working closely with sponsors both virtually on onsite. The work environment is friendly and on the smaller side with 35 employees, so you will get to know everyone by name and have access and visibility to senior management. The Clinical Veterinarian will:
Provide routine and specialized veterinary medical, dental, imaging, and surgical services.
Lead the care and resolution of complex medical cases.
Assist in designing and implementing preventive medicine programs.

Maintain compliance with federal regulations on animal care and use.
Develop, review, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to animal issues.

Have earned a DVM or equivalent degree

Live and breathe emergency medicine

The wage range for this role is $140,000.00 - $350,000.00 salary per year, inclusive of base salary and discretionary production bonus target. The expected base salary for this role is between $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 of this wage range.
