Angell Animal Medical Center is looking for a certified vet technician or experienced vet assistant to join our skilled anesthesia team. We have a $10,000 sign on bonus for Veterinary Technicians and experienced Assistants hired into our Anesthesia Department at Angell! WHO WE ARE: Angell, founded in 1915, is recognized internationally as a leader in animal medicine and has the reputation as one of the finest veterinary teaching hospitals in North America. Angell serves the greater Boston and scenic New England area as a primary care facility, a 24-hour emergency hospital, and as a tertiary referral center. OUR ANESTHESIA DEPARTMENT: With 3 board certified anesthesiologist, 4 board certified surgeons and 3 resident surgeons, 7 surgical suites, state-of the art monitoring and surgical equipment, this position is perfect for the certified technician who wants to be working in an innovative and challenging environment working alongside the best veterinary doctors in the country. COMPENSATION: Veterinary Assistants starting $24-$29/hour Certified Veterinary Technicians starting $29-$34/hr Please note that candidates with additional experience or credentials may be eligible for compensation aligned with their qualifications. WHY ANGELL? You will never be bored at Angell as we anesthetize a wide and varied assortment of patients including orthopedic, soft tissue (adrenalectomies), thoracic (pericardial windows, lung lobectomies), cardiac (balloons, pacemakers), and a variety of avian and exotic patients.
