The Veterinary Technician Manager will train and supervise veterinary support staff while acting as a leader in the medical department. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all duties of a veterinary technician with highest standards of care and attention to detail. Oversee training and onboarding with direction from the Learning and Development team and the Director of Shelter Medicine. Collaborate with the Director of Shelter Medicine on creating and maintaining written SOPs and training protocols for all medical staff and volunteers. Assign daily tasks and responsibilities to technical staff and ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Oversee care and treatment of hospitalized patients and monitoring and preventative care for shelter population. Meet weekly with the Director of Shelter Medicine.
