Job Description
This is a working supervisory position responsible for the leadership of the technician and assistant medical team under the mentorship of the Lead Veterinary Technician and Practice Manager. QUALIFICATIONS:
Completion of a veterinary technology program or equivalent experience as a full or part-time veterinary technician.
Must possess a valid veterinary technician license in the State of Kentucky.
One to three years of veterinary technician experience. Experience in a zoo or an aquarium is preferred.
Experience with medical record software, TRACKS, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products and standard PC operating systems is recommended.
Detailed knowledge of the biology and husbandry of a large variety of fishes, invertebrates, birds, reptiles, and amphibians.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and/or evenings and holidays in cases of animal health emergencies.
Weekend availability needed.

This is a working supervisory position responsible for the leadership of the technician and assistant medical team under the mentorship of the Lead Veterinary Technician and Practice Manager. Basic Qualifications
