Shiloh Veterinary Hospital is currently looking for an associate full-time Veterinarian to join our growing practice! We are located on the west end of Billings, MT-the largest city in Montana! If you love the outdoors along with a city that still has a small-town feel, we may be just the spot for you! Shiloh Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA-accredited general care hospital that practices progressive, compassionate medicine and surgery. We are committed to the highest standards of care and expect at all times our clients and their pets to be treated as if they are family. We offer interesting, diverse, and challenging cases with manageable caseloads and a strong technician team to best support your medicine. We have 30-minute appointment times to ensure excellent client communication and education. Some of the services we offer include: -soft tissue and orthopedic surgery -rehabilitation including laser therapy -abdominal and thoracic ultrasound -digital radiography -digital dental radiography -plus we see our share of exotics We have an experienced doctor team who is eager to mentor new grads or DVMs looking to expand their knowledge in a new area! We have a close-knit team and focus on a positive culture so we are looking for someone who values teamwork, can get along well with coworkers, and has a heart for serving our clients and their pets. We schedule to make sure our doctors and team get a long lunch break-we all need a break from the day! We talk to our team about policy changes before they happen and encourage their feedback. Our team is our priority. We take excellent care of them so they can in turn take excellent care of our patients and clients. We believe in our team. We demonstrate this by giving them the opportunity to learn and grow. How do we ensure this happens? We are closed every Wednesday for an hour to guarantee our team has time for training and development. We also have snack drawers, pot lucks, Crumble Cookie deliveries, bad jokes, and time for puppy snuggles when the days get tough. We work together as a cohesive team, have the BEST clients, and truly enjoy what we do! We believe in work/life balance and offer a schedule of four-9 hour shifts with rotating four-hour shifts on Saturdays . All of our after-hour emergencies are referred to our sister hospital, Moore Lane Veterinary Hospital which means none of our doctors are ever on call. To ensure our doctors have a strong work/life balance, we only schedule wellness exams for their last appointment before lunch and their last appointment at the end of the day. Most days, our doctors are headed home about 15 minutes after closing. We care about our team and that shows in our benefits which include a competitive salary (our current doctors bring in around $115k-160k per year on a pro-sal model) , CE allowance of $,1500 annually, and three days paid, state and DEA licensing fees, enrollment into VIN, liability and malpractice insurance, 401K with company match, generous portion of health insurance paid, and availability of dental and vision insurance among others. We are seeking an experienced veterinarian but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply. Skills and Basic Qualifications: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited university. Licensure in good standing and able to obtain a Montana DVM license. Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics. The Sr. Technician will perform inspections, interpret indications, and report results per company requirements. The Sr. Technician will be able to communicate processes, procedures and results to customers. The Sr Technician will assist in training apprentices in the various NDT Methods. Perform engine, power steering, coolant, transmission, and brake flushes. Perform oil changes and lubrication work and check all filters. Perform diagnostics to determine what repairs are necessary Inspect all fluid levels of vehicle including, but not limited to: power steering, windshield washer, transmission, transaxle, engine oil, coolant, brake, clutch, t-case, front and rear differentials, and any fluids depending on vehicle type. Ensure that customer's vehicle is delivered. Operates and maintains all lubrication equipment. Ensure all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts. Updates job knowledge by participating in training and education opportunities. Ensure that work area is organized and cleaned daily.
