valued
, supported, and never stuck in a rut? Tired of late-night ER shifts or routine clinics that stunt your growth?
Join Sploot Veterinary Care
in Arvada, CO and discover a better way to do what you love!
Who We Are:
Sploot Veterinary Care is a new kind of veterinary clinic, blending Urgent Care and General Practice to provide pets with high-quality care when they need it. We were founded by compassionate individuals who wanted to rewrite the rules of vet med - prioritizing our team's well-being as much as our patients'. CoVET AI Scribe
for medical notes and offer laparoscopic surgery as a modern, non-invasive surgery option), and our culture is all about collaboration, learning, and fun. We're building the future of vet care, and we want you to be a part of it!
Why You'll Love Working at Sploot:
Diverse Caseload (Urgent + Primary):

No Overnights or On-Call - Ever: We're open 8am-8pm, 7 days/week, but we don't do overnights. Enjoy predictable 4-day work weeks. No more 2 AM phone calls, no swing shifts ending at midnight. Your evenings are yours - go home for dinner, recharge, and actually have a life outside work!

“thank you's”
and appreciation along the way).
Day in the Life (Job Duties):
As a Sploot Veterinary Technician, each day will be dynamic and fulfilling. You will:
Partner with our Veterinarians to deliver top-notch care - from prepping patients for surgery, monitoring anesthesia, to performing treatments and diagnostics. You're the doctor's trusted right hand.
Provide Compassionate Client Care - educate and reassure pet parents during what can be stressful moments. You'll explain treatments and home care instructions, making sure our clients feel supported and heard.
Perform Lab & Technical Skills - collect blood, run lab tests, place IV catheters, take radiographs (including dental x-rays), administer medications and vaccines, and even assist in suturing and wound care.
Maintain Organized Workflow - help keep our clinic running smoothly by maintaining accurate digital medical records (with help from our AI scribe), restocking supplies, and ensuring equipment is cleaned/sterilized. A tidy clinic is a happy clinic for team, pets, and owners alike.
Be a Culture Champion - we have core values like Accountability, Teamwork, and Solution-Focus. You embody these by communicating openly, having a can-do attitude, and supporting your colleagues. You'll mentor assistants and help foster the positive environment that makes Sploot special.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
Credentialed Vet Tech in Colorado: You're a Certified/Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) with a current Colorado license (or eligibility). This is a must - we value the expertise that comes with your credentials.
Experience: At least 1 year of clinical vet tech experience. Emergency/urgent care experience is a huge plus, but not required - if you're eager to learn urgent care skills, we'll teach you.
Team Player Attitude: You thrive in a team setting, communicate well, and are willing to jump in wherever needed. Our clinic motto is “no ego - all care.” We want someone who lifts others up and enjoys a collaborative workflow.
Efficient & Proactive: You have an eye for improving processes and you're organized in a sometimes-hectic environment. You can juggle multiple tasks (with help from the team) and still pay attention to the details that matter (like accurate record-keeping and medication dosing).
Compassion & Passion: You love what you do and it shows. You handle pets with gentle care, treat clients with respect, and you're driven by the desire to make things better - for the pet in front of you and for the field of vet medicine as a whole. If you're the kind of person who got into this profession to help animals and continually grow, you'll fit right in at Sploot.
