In this dynamic role you must be proficient with the following skills: * Venipuncture * IV catheter placement * Running lab work * Taking x-rays * Giving injections (IV, IM, SQ), inducing anesthesia, intubation and monitoring anesthesia * Dental prophylaxis including dental extractions To be an outstanding RVT/RVTA, you'll be: * an excellent communicator * an organized multi-tasker * attentive to detail * conscientious and committed to providing an excellent level of care for our patients * dependable and trustworthy Finally, it's essential that you love what you do and like to have fun doing it! Our current hours of operation (which are subject to change at any time) are Monday through Saturday 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. This position may weekend hours. All applicants must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs on their own and must be able to stand, squat and kneel down or lean over for long periods of time.
