Place IV catheters, central lines, NG tubes, and nasal cannulas; perform blood draws and transfusions

Provide intensive care for ICU patients, including chest tube maintenance and critical patient support
Bandage, splint, and assist in surgery
Prepare and interpret fecals, blood smears, and cytologies
Mentor and train less experienced staff
Partner with DVMs to provide patient care, comfort, and client education
This position is ideal for CVTs looking to practice at the top of their license, grow their skills, and be part of a collaborative, high-energy ER team.

Basic Qualifications

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! This role is ideal for someone with prior VT experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about patient care.
Responsibilities:
Restrain and triage patients; collect and analyze lab samples
Perform diagnostic imaging, assist with surgery, and monitor anesthesia
Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients of varying stability
Administer medications and communicate treatment plans with clients
Requirements:
Prior VT experience strongly preferred
Comfortable with animals, clinic sights, sounds, and odors
Ability to work safely around potential bites, scratches, animal waste, or contagious diseases

Self-motivated with a desire to continually expand knowledge and skills
