We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ER Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency Room team!
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for providing high-quality care to animals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications
We're Looking For:
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred, but not required.
2+ years professional veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience required. Previous vet med ER experience heavily preferred.

Consistent punctuality and reliability in adherence to scheduled shifts.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans.
Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care, and hospital operations.

Proficiency in various sample collection methods, including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens.
Experience in radiographic positioning and image capture.
Experience in anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to animal-related hazards.
Preferred Skills for ER Technician:
Critical care anesthesia experience, including operating room and ventilator management.
Strong proficiency in anesthesia administration and surgical monitoring.
High level of comfort with medical math and dosage calculations.
Commitment to professional ethics and ongoing education.
Ability to manage a high caseload with multiple patients simultaneously.

Acuity is looking for a Veterinary Technician to support our contract in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The Veterinary Technician would be responsible for the overall health of domestic and feral animals on the island.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Examine animals to detect nature of diseases or injuries.
Inoculate animals against various diseases such as rabies and distemper.
Collect body tissue, feces, blood, urine, or other body fluids for examination and analysis.
Operate diagnostic equipment such as radiographic and ultrasound equipment.
Establish and conduct quarantine and testing procedures that prevent the spread of diseases to other animals or to humans, and that comply with applicable government regulations.
Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and maintaining business records.
Inspect and test animals to detect the presence of communicable diseases.
Plan and execute animal nutrition and reproduction programs.
Inspect animal housing to determine cleanliness and adequacy.
Be available for on-call duties as required, responding promptly to emergencies and providing care as necessary.

Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology and a current Veterinary Technician Certificate from an accredited university.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in private practice or the military.
Minimum of two (2) years' experience in working independently and decision-making in canine and feline medical emergencies.
Minimum of two (2) years in maintaining canine and feline health records and canine and feline international health certificates.
Experience with a microchip program that scans, reads and tracks canines and felines.
Proficiency in the use of basic word processing programs.
Must have a valid, current U.S. Driver's License.
Must have a valid, current U.S. Passport, with no less than 6 months remaining before expiration.
Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write and communicate in English.
Requires a favorably adjudicated CNACI investigation conducted by the Department of Defense.
Must sign an International Assignment Agreement (IAA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the IAA.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be "medically and dentally fit" in accordance with Acuity Medical Readiness Guidelines and Policies and/or as directed by the Client.
Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; travel to Kwajalein is required by air.

Job Description
The Technician Trainer will partner with Regional Managers and Directors to implement the organizational education and training strategy for Alliance Animal Health Practices. Acts as a role model for high standards of practice coaches to resolve practice issues and foster professional growth and enhance staff knowledge and skills. Working alongside Practice Managers and Technicians to develop support staff, through hands-on training and practical applications to maximize practice potential.
While this position is considered remote, you would need to live within 40 minutes of a major airport, as 50% - 75% travel is required for hospital visits. An active and good-standing LVT/CVT/RVT is required for this role.

Job Description
The Technician Trainer will partner with Regional Managers and Directors to implement the organizational education and training strategy for Alliance Animal Health Practices. Acts as a role model for high standards of practice coaches to resolve practice issues and foster professional growth and enhance staff knowledge and skills. Working alongside Practice Managers and Technicians to develop support staff, through hands-on training and practical applications to maximize practice potential.
While this position is considered remote, you would need to live within 40 minutes of a major airport, as 50% - 75% travel is required for hospital visits. An active and good-standing LVT/CVT/RVT is required for this role.
In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow (and having a love for pets helps as well.) Experience with facilitation, public speaking, creating, and designing education programs, e-learning courses and adhering to budgets are important for the role. Program execution, collaboration, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
Utilize your experience and professional skills to present an engaging and compelling learning experience
Apply knowledge of learning technologies to address specific learning needs
Evaluate needs assessment to create and facilitate learning needs

Pet restraint, triage incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.
