Key Responsibilities
Perform vacuuming, drying, window cleaning etc.

Wash and fold towels.
Maintain supply of towels and cleaning chemicals needed to perform job.
Performing job functions safely, in accordance with safety guidelines.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. This role involves performing a wide range of medical and technical duties, supporting our veterinarians, and helping provide an outstanding experience for our clients and their pets.
Responsibilities:
Perform advanced technical skills, including anesthetic monitoring, surgical preparation/assistance, dental cleanings, radiology, laboratory diagnostics, and emergency triage.
Provide gentle, safe, and effective animal handling and restraint.
Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
Maintain accurate medical records and uphold clinic protocols for patient care and sanitation.
Support hospital workflow by assisting veterinarians and collaborating with the entire care team.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of veterinary technician experience (CVT/LVT/RVT preferred).
Strong technical competency and confidence in both routine and emergency procedures.
Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Essential Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians in the practice of veterinary medicine and surgery and other tasks as needed.
Assist veterinarians in outpatient exams by taking histories, vital signs, and weights, as well as providing client education.
Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vital signs of the patient during surgery.
Obtain blood, stool, and other samples; perform in-hospital laboratory testing and prepare specimens for outside laboratories.
Take, develop, and maintain radiographs following proper safety procedures.
Provide basic animal handling and restrain animals during exams.
Administer and monitor medications, anesthesia, vaccines, and treatments at the discretion of the veterinarian.
Clean and straighten exam rooms, treatment, and lab areas; restock exam rooms with supplies. Assist other team members to keep the public areas of the practice clean; clean and maintain all medical equipment.
Demonstrate warmth, courtesy and professionalism in all interactions with clients; exercise compassion and care in all interactions with patients.
Communicate with veterinarians and practice team members including client discussions, patient plans, client concerns, etc.
Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
Ability to work on weekends as required
Previous veterinary experience preferred
Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance
Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE
Basic math and the ability to calculate medication dosages
Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS office applications, etc.
Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will:
Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients and use anesthesia/monitoring equipment.
Triage emergency cases as they arrive at the hospital including obtaining vitals such as temperature heart rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure.
Perform digital radiography using proper technique including proper positioning of patients.

Obtain and interpret blood pressure and other vital signs and alert Veterinarian to changes and issues.
Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.

Are proficient at performing phlebotomy and placing intravenous catheters in all peripheral vessels.
Place and maintain feeding tubes and central line catheters.
