    Nurse Practitioner (NP) Quality Assurance Auditor - Clinical Technology & EHR Focus A Great Opportunity / Full-Time At ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions, we provide specialized and individualized psychiatric care to children, adolescents, adults, and the aging population, including individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral health needs. Our services are delivered by an interdisciplinary team of Nurse Practitioners, psychiatrists, therapists, and care coordinators. We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to serve as a Quality Assurance Auditor with a strong interest in clinical technology, electronic health records (EHRs), and emerging tools such as artificial intelligence (AI). This role supports clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and innovation in documentation, workflows, and quality improvement. Responsibilities may include: People & Training Promote and model ViaQuest's mission, vision, and values in all interactions. Serve as a clinical technology and quality resource for Nurse Practitioners and leadership. Provide consultation and support to management during regulatory and accreditation reviews. Assist with development and monitoring of plans of correction related to audits and reviews. Develop and deliver training related to documentation standards, EHR workflows, and quality improvement tools. Promote positive and cooperative relationships with internal teams and external partners. Ensure confidentiality and rights of individuals served are maintained at all times. Process Improvement & Technology Ensure implementation of programmatic policies and procedures within electronic systems. Lead and participate in chart audits focused on documentation quality, regulatory compliance, and system utilization. Assist in quality measure reviews, schizophrenia audits, and data integrity audits. Analyze trends in documentation using EHR data and reporting tools. Support development and monitoring of quality improvement processes using electronic dashboards and analytics. Assist in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new clinical technologies, including AI-supported tools. Collaborate with clinical leadership and IT teams to improve EHR workflows, templates, and automation. Participate in federal, state, and local trainings related to regulatory standards and health information technology. Provide recommendations for policy and procedure development with a focus on quality outcomes and system efficiency. Quality Oversight Conduct Quality Assurance Reviews as assigned. Perform regular chart reviews to ensure documentation meets regulatory and clinical standards. Identify opportunities for improvement related to documentation accuracy, consistency, and clinical decision support. Develop and provide education when deficiencies or trends are identified. Oversee the Nurse Practitioner peer review process. Participate in the Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions Quality Assurance Review Committee. Communicate quality and technology-related issues to appropriate leadership. Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures and report concerns as needed. Requirements for this position include: Active, unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in Ohio. Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing. Experience with quality assurance, auditing, or clinical documentation preferred. Strong interest in clinical technology, EHR optimization, and data-driven quality improvement. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and navigating multiple electronic health record systems. Comfort working with new technologies and AI-supported clinical tools. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Willingness to travel throughout the state as needed. Under the direction of two Supervising Physicians, conduct patient assessments, order or directly provide treatments, and provide patient education and support. Promotes and maintains patient health by providing medical services under the supervision of the Supervising Physicians.
